Why Doesn’t She Just Leave Him?

A question we’ve asked ourself or another friend- sometime in this life, if we have the privilege of having friends and family whom we love enough to care about.

Why doesn’t she just leave him? If he’s abusive, or a drug addict, or a drunk, or a cheater? Just leave? Just get a divorce?

Here is my answer: we know not the history of these souls.

Besides some people staying in relationships due to societal expectations (worst reason to stay together ever! No one on their death bed ever says “I’m so happy I did everything society expected me to.) Sometimes the reasons they “seem” unable to leave is because of the Soul Plan between the two of them. Some people call this the “Pre-birth Plan,” others call this the “karmic bond.” Either way, even in the Bible, we are told over and over again that “there is a plan,” and “before you were born, there was a plan”…. so think on that…. EVERY SINGLE thing and person you go through and encounter has been planned prior to your birth. (yes, there are “live edits,” where Free Will makes changes while the life is going on, but for the most part, it’s all pre-planned. Imagine a flow chart, where every twist and turn you could think of is a “maybe” and every soul in your life agrees to it. I’ll get more into live edits in a different post.)

Imagine this: Two souls in heaven- An “Addict Soul,” And a “Lover Soul.” One wanting to experience being an addict, the other wanting to come into existence and have a romantic bond with the “addict” soul in this life. The addict will write their soul plan (which is always perfect for it and everyone around it) and will acknowledge to the “lover soul” that “this will be a difficult life for you, should you choose to be born and love me romantically. Even if we wed, it will be challenging. I will not behave like myself.” (for all of our souls, no matter our mannerisms on Earth, are perfect love beings in heaven) The Lover Soul will look at the Addict Soul’s life plan, all the twists and turns it could take and agree to be born in this life with them. To meet, to fall in love and to walk with them through this challenging life. The Lover Soul will be beaten down, will be exhausted, and will probably contemplate leaving the Addict Soul, but will “for some reason” not be able to leave. Everything from the outside seems so easy. “why not just leave?” “you’d be so much happier.” Perhaps those on the outside of this romantic bond can see the problems and solutions loud and clear, and even so, the Lover Soul sees it as well. But they truly love the Addict Soul greater than all the pain on Earth, to their own detriment, perhaps. Regardless if they part, or if they stay in this Planned Union, when they get to Heaven and return to their perfect state, they will have succeeded in loving each other through this- even if by “society standards” it looks like their marriage and love was a failure.

Now, on to a different scenario: Two souls, A Physically Abusive Soul and a Lover Soul. Once again, I remind you that we know not the history of these souls. In THIS life the Lover Soul CHOSE to come in as a Lover Soul. But perhaps LAST TIME these two souls agreed to incarnate together, the Lover soul was the Abusive Soul. It would have made that choice so that it could experience anger and uncontrollability . And the soul that in THIS life is the Abusive Soul was the Lover Soul in the last life these two souls were together. In this life, they chose to balance out the Soul Plan (karma) and switch roles. We, on the outside are only privy to witness these souls in this one life, so to us on the side-lines, it looks like a wreck. But for the history of the Lover and Abusive souls, they chose to be the victim and the abuser and switch roles so they could experience everything. We, who love victims of abuse ask “Why doesn’t she just leave? If he beats her all the time? Just leave?” And the next question- “Why would God write a Soul Plan for His children to endure pain….let alone pain that can be carried on to their children?” 

Because all Plans are perfect.

That is why we are born. To experience being everything. We are and have been everything. We have been the victim, the abuser, the killer, the killed, the rapist, the rape victim, the king, the slave, the rich, the poor, the generous and the greedy. All the things, we have chosen to be. I personally feel in the Bible when it reads, ” You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things.” Romans 2:1-2. it is telling us that we have done these same things because we have been all the character types in past lives. I know, I know, this bible verse is taken out of context, how can I be so sure? Because these are the messages I get, these are the understandings presented to me during my prayers and illuminations when I work on people who come to me for help with healing their souls, their pain and trauma.

If we can think of horrid things in this way….that there is a plan for our soul, and that plan is perfect…that there is a history in the souls who hurt us- a history that we do not know… we can be more peace-filled. For we will understand that EVERYTHING is FOR us.

In THIS world we are taught “good” and “bad,” but in Heaven it’s all perfect. Perfectly planned for us. For our souls to experience being compassionate, loving, tender, generous, gentle…all the things! God is in the BEAUTIFUL as well as the VILE. He is in all things, and has planned this life and the lives of those whom we love perfectly and beautifully for us.
